Very convenient for T5 with various transportation options. Nice buffet breakfast. The leisure room was great for relaxation. Staff helpful but somewhat distant. Near interesting landmarks: Staines Moor for a peaceful walk, The Great Barn for history, and Little Britain Lake for family time. The London Motor Museum was also exciting for a unique outing.

The room was surprisingly quiet for being right next to the runway, and we loved sitting on the open terrace to watch the planes up close while having breakfast. It was super convenient being able to drop off the hire car nearby, and having a bath in the room was a nice touch. The only downside was the slightly dated rooms on the first floor, but we'll definitely be back because the staff were really helpful and everything else was great.✈️

I chose Thistle for its proximity to Heathrow Airport, as I wanted to watch airplanes take flight from the Runway View Restaurant & Bar. The on-site parking and the option to enjoy a drink and a hearty meal at the Runway View Bar and Terrace were pleasant surprises.

The hotel's proximity to Terminal 5 was a major plus, as it made our journey to the airport quick and convenient. we loved the unique experience of using the pods to travel to the airport, it was a fun and hassle-free way to start our trip.

The soundproofing in the rooms was quite poor, and we could hear a lot of noise from outside, especially considering the hotel is close to the runway. This made it difficult to get a good night's rest.

I frequently stay at this basic hotel when I fly. It's very close to the airport, clean, and comfortable. The staff may not be the friendliest, but that doesn't bother me. It's a good hotel for a night before flying. The location is ideal for Terminal 5, and the staff provided excellent service. They even arranged a wheelchair for my wife, who has a mobility impairment. The breakfast was a great value, and the restaurant has a fantastic view of the runway. Stayed here for a business trip and found the location extremely convenient, being close to Terminal 5 Heathrow. The noise from the planes did not disturb my sleep, which was a huge relief.
